Shilpa's call lifts Goody's spirits

London, Feb 19: Cancer-stricken Jade Goody who got engaged with her beau Jack Tweed last week will be getting married this Sunday, Feb 22.

Doctors told Goody that she has months to live. Jade is suffering from cervical cancer.

Congratulations are pouring for Goody for her wedding. Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, former Big Brother house mate congratulated Jade Goody ahead of her wedding.

"Shilpa called the Royal Marsden to tell Jade she was sorry she can't be at the ceremony as she is filming in India. It was a really warm friendly chat. Shilpa wanted Jade to know she was thinking of her and it really lifted her spirits," a source close to Goody told 'Daily Mail'.

Goody had criticised Shilpa of racist remarks when they were participants in the Big Brother reality show. Later Goody apologised Shilpa for her remarks.

The sick Good, might earn over USD2 million during her wedding as she has struck a deal with OK magazine for exclusive magazine coverage of the ceremony.

Jade has called her close friends ahead of wedding for the preparations. "I'm so looking forward to being a bride. And I want to walk toward my groom, just like any other young woman would on what is meant to be the best day of their lives...I am going to be the bride... I can't wait to get married...I felt like a princess when I put on the dress. It's fabulous," Goody, mother of two, said her friends.
