Naomi Watts' pals scotch caesarean birth rumours

Melbourne, Feb 18 (ANI): Amid rumors that Hollywood actress Naomi Watts' baby Samuel Kai was born through a caesarean operation, her close pals have revealed that the actress had a normal delivery.

The rumors began circulating after The Perez Hilton site featured paparazzi pictures of Watts standing on a balcony naked, except for a casually thrown open dressing gown, showing a still-swollen belly and an obvious caesarean scar.

However, her friends claim that the scar was there because her first child Alexander was born through a caesarean delivery.

Alexander, born 18 months ago, finally arrived through a caesarean delivery, after an exhausting 30-hour labour failed to progress.

"They tried to induce the baby but things didn't go as planned. She ended up having an emergency Caesar," the Daily Telegraph quoted a source as saying.

Meanwhile, Naomi Watts, who likes to keep her delivery private, is said to be upset with the fact that her photographs had been taken and circulated around the world via the web. (ANI)
