If Sonia is projected as PM, more women will vote for Congress

New Delhi, Feb.18 (ANI): If UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi is projected as the ruling coalition's prime ministerial candidate in the 2009 elections, more women will vote for the Congress, a web site has claimed in a poll.

According to Politicsparty.com, this finding emerges from a poll of 1000 persons in each Lok Sabha constituency.

According to the web site, the women swing fro Gandhi is more in non-BJP states.

The web site also predicts that the Congress-led UPA will cobble up the required 272 seats and more it requires to form its second consecutive government, provided it reworks its national agenda to inspire voters.

It adds that the Congress party has chosen winning candidates for all the Lok Sabha constituencies. The reworked agenda must address the key issues affecting the voters. It also suggests that there is a need for a better communication strategy to woo the votebank, especially the disenchanted sections. (ANI)
