Brit teens want music more than sex

London, Feb 18 (ANI): For British teens, music is more important than sex, claims a new survey.

Survey of 1,000 15-24 year-olds by Marrakesh Records and Human Capital has revealed that two thirds of young people have claimed they would rather give up intercourse than their iPods.

Also, the survey disclosed that 60 per cent of 16-24 year olds would rather go without sex than music for a week, which increased to 70 per cent for 16-19 year olds, reports the Telegraph.

The survey not only highlighted how important music is to young people, but also revealed their changing attitudes to paying for music online.

On the other hand 70 per cent of 15-24s in the survey said they don't feel guilty for illegally downloading music.

According to the Youth and Music Survey 2009, on average 43 per cent of the music owned and enjoyed by the age group has not been paid for, and the same figure for 15-19 year olds is 49 percent. (ANI)
