Cancer-stricken Goody plans "fairytale" wedding to Tweed

London, Feb 17 (ANI): British TV star Jade Goody is planning a "fairytale" wedding to her fiance Jack Tweed.

The 27-year-old was told last week that her cancer had become fatal. Following the news, the actress briefly left the Royal Marsden Hospital in a wheelchair to exchange engagement rings with Tweed, 21.

The couple then visited Harrods where she picked out a "beautiful" wedding dress, a gift from the store's owner Mohamed Al Fayed.

Sir Elton John has offered one of his homes as the location for the ceremony, reports the Daily Express.

Goody's friend and publicist Max Clifford said: "This has given her something to think about, a happy event.

"The wedding, the Christening of her two boys, these are all positive things to focus on as opposed to the cancer and what is happening to her and what she is going through."

He said: "After they exchanged rings they went to Harrods where she picked out the most beautiful, in her words, wedding dress. Mohamed said it was his gift for her wedding day.

Clifford said she is determined to "keep busy" and secure her children's future.

He said she told him: "Max, I know I'm ignorant but I want my boys to have the best possible education money can buy and I am going to make sure that I do that for them so that when they grow up they know that mum did that." (ANI)
