Haryana Police seizes 200kg fake Viagra tablets

Chandigarh, Feb 15: Reports suggest that Haryana police seized more than 200 kg of fake tablets of Viagra, the drug for erectile dysfunction. Udyog Vihar police unit, Haryana Crime Branch and State Controller Organisation jointly conducted the raid and recovered fake Viagra.

Police sources said that the fake drugs were being manufactured for last 6 months and were being sent to countries like United Kingdom, United States and Canada. Sources said a case has been registered against one S C Bhardwaj, the owner of Chem Pharma Company which was producing the drug.

8 employees are held in connection with the case and police said that further probe in to the case is on.
