Gangster Mukhtar Ansari to contest in BSP ticket

Lucknow, Feb 15: BSP supremo Mayawati is getting ready for the coming Lok Sabha polls. Bahujan Samaj Party chief is adding more goon power to her side. Reports suggest that MLA Mukhtar Ansari, former mafia leader turned politician is expected to be declared as the BSP candidate from Varanasi on Sunday, Feb 15.

Sources say that Nasimuddin Siddiqui, the party National General Secretary is expected to make the declaration in a public rally. Mukhtar Ansari is presently in jail for being involved in the murder of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai.

The Ansari brothers are the main accused in the Rai murder case. One is an independent legislator, while the other is a Samajwadi Party MP.
