Train mishap: High level probe ordered
Bhubaneswar, Feb 13: A high level probe has been ordered into the derailment of the Howrah-Chennai Coromandel Superfast Express train which killed 16 people and injured more than 160, near Jajpur road railway station on Friday, Feb 13 evening.
Chief Public Relations Officer of East Coast Railway (ECOR) J P Mishra said, a high-level inquiry is likely to be conducted by the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety and other senior officials to ascertain the exact reason of the mishap.
Union Minister of state for Railways R Velu, Railway Board Chairman S S Khurana and some board members intend to visit the accident site, railway officials said.
