London, Feb 14 (ANI): Brit television presenter Melinda Messenger has revealed that taking part in 'Dancing On Ice' has helped save her marriage from coming to an end.

According to TV Biz, Messenger, 37, was devastated when her hubby Wayne left her after nine years of marriage.

But now that Wayne has moved back into their Berkshire home after an eight-month separation that "felt like forever" for her, they are planning on renewing their vows.

"We came so close to ending it forever," the Sun quoted her as saying.Believe me, I appreciate it 100 per cent that we were able to get back together. It's quite heartbreaking to think how very different things could have been," she said.

Messenger credits her going on the ice show for helping them get back together.

"This has been the most brilliant thing for all of us, it's made us massively closer," she said.

"Last year was hard for all of us. So it's nice to be immersed in something that is really fun and exciting and difficult. My head can't go anywhere else - I have to be completely focused on the skating.

"It's a welcome relief from the distresses of last year and it helps us put everything else aside," she stated.

Wayne, 31, has been in the studio watching her perform on the ice every week.

"He's behind me 100 per cent, at every low moment. He sends me the most incredible texts before the show that really lift me and it's really hit home just what an amazing man he is," she added. (ANI)
