Railways to construct nine over bridges and under bridges during 2009-10

New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today said that during the year 2009-10, the Railways will construct nine Railway Over Bridges (ROBs) and Railway Under Bridges (RUBs) on fifty-fifty cost sharing basis.

Presenting the Interim Railway Budget 2009-10 in the Lok Sabha, the Minister said that Palej, Panoli, Kosamba and Kim in the districts of Surat and Bharuch in Gujarat, Roshanara Garden and Sultanpuri in Delhi, Shastrinagar and Model Town of Ludhiana in Punjab and Vasarpadi in Tamil Nadu would be considered on priority for construction of ROBs and RUBs.
