Madge's nude photo auctioned for $ 37,500

Washington, Feb 13 (ANI): A nude photo of a young Madonna has fetched 37,500 dollars at an auction.

The Queen of Pop stripped for the photo when she was a struggling student in New York, reports Contactmusic.

The shot was taken in 1979 by photographer Lee Friedlander, who paid her just 25 dollars.

The photo, which sold at Christie's Art House, was expected to fetch up to 15,000 dollars.

An anonymous phone bidder has bought the photo. (ANI)
