Kate Winslet plans to throw Oscar party even if she doesn't win

Washington, Feb 13 (ANI): Even if she doesn't scoop gold on the Oscar night, Kate Winslet is planning on marking her sixth Oscar nomination with a bash for friends and family.

The 33-year-old is nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in post-war drama 'The Reader' and will fight it out with Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Melissa Leo and Meryl Streep.

The actress is hoping for glory at the upcoming Academy Awards - but will celebrate with a party even if she doesn't walk away with a trophy.

"You just don't know what's going to happen. This is my sixth nomination, so it will be the sixth time I've attended an Oscar ceremony and that in itself is a great honour," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"I don't take the nominations for granted. If it happens, then great. If it doesn't then I'm still going to have a party," she added. (ANI)
