26/11: Kasav's police custody ends on Feb 13
New Delhi, Feb 13: Amir Azam Kasav aka Mohammad Ajmal Amir Iman's police custody will end on Friday, Feb 13. He is the only surviving terrorist of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
Mumbai court remanded Kasav till date for his alleged involvement in the shootout at the Cama and the Albless Hospital in South Mumbai. Reports suggest that Kasav is in police custody since his arrest on the night of Nov 26, and has been booked in about 12 cases by the Mumbai police.
Meanwhile in a new development, after 76 days of denial in involvement in Mumbai strikes Pakistan government has registered a case against Kasav and 13 other people.
Pakistan have filed case on the basis of a Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) report on the 26/11 terror strikes. Islamabad ordered the FIA probe after India alleged that the Mumbai attacks were plotted in Pakistan.
Kasav is placed under high security as he is the key evidence to the incident. Also Intelligence Bureau reports suggest that underworld Kingpin Dawood Ibrahim has ordered his second-in-command Chhota Shakeel to kill Kasav.
Kasav and Ismail Khan attacked the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) on Nov 26 killing 58 persons and injuring over 100.
