Prince Harry faces formal Army discipline over 'Paki' row
London, February 12 (ANI): Prince Harry has been formally disciplined by enraged Army chiefs for his infamous 'Paki' remark directed at a fellow Asian cadet.
The soldier prince had been accused of racism after calling Captain Ahmed Raza Khan "our little Paki friend" in a three-year-old home video.
The 24-year-old has been ordered to undergo tough sessions of an equality and diversity course in a bid to make him realise just how much offence and damage had been caused by his foul-mouthed comments.
According to a military source, the royal's remarks would also be penned permanently into his Army record, reports the Mirror.
Clarence House added: "Prince Harry has said sorry for his remarks and has been subjected to normal Army disciplinary procedures. The matter is now closed."
A Ministry of Defence spokesman also said: "The Army has concluded its considerations in relation to this case."
The development comes just after Harry was alleged to have landed himself in a new race gaffe after telling a comedian he did not "sound like a black chap".
Harry had also evoked much criticism in 2005 after sporting a Nazi uniform at a costume party, for which he apologised later. (ANI)
