Prince Harry embroiled in new race row

London, February 11 (ANI): Prince Harry has allegedly landed himself in a new race gaffe after telling a comedian he did not "sound like a black chap".

The 24-year-old has already seen a tough beginning to 2009 with the ending his five-year relationship with Chelsy Davy, along with facing probe for his infamous "Paki" remark.

Harry was said to have directed his comment to comic Stephen K Amos after his stand-up performance at the Prince Charles' 60th birthday last year.

Stephen claimed that the young royal applauded him before saying: "You don't sound like a black chap."

"I wanted to say, 'How is I supposed to sound?'" the Sun quoted Stephen as telling The Wright Stuff on TV's Five.

On being approached on the matter, Clarence House said: "We do not comment on allegations about private conversations involving the Royals."

The blunder unfolded just a month after the soldier prince had been accused of racism after calling a fellow Asian cadet "our little Paki friend" in a three-year-old home video.

Harry also faced the heat in 2005 after wearing a Nazi uniform at a costume party, for which he apologised later. (ANI)
