Meryl Streep says wearing own outfits secret behind her award success

Washington, Feb 10 (ANI): American actress Meryl Streep has vowed not to wear any designer dresses to the awards but to stick with her own outfits for luck.

Streep had refused to wear a designer dress to the recent Screen Actor's Guild Awards and picked out one of her own instead, and she was surprised when she won the Best Actress award for her role in 'Doubt'.

Now keeping that in mind, the actress is convinced that wearing one of her own dresses will aid her in winning an award at the Oscar this month, where she has been nominated for a Best Actress Academy Award.

"I'll never buy a dress again," Contactmusic quoted her as saying. (ANI)
