Carrie Underwood was 'scared' to meet Prince

Washington, Feb 10 (ANI): Even though American country pop singer Carrie Underwood has made a name for herself in the music world, she revealed that she was too scared to approach Prince.

Underwood spotted Prince at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party, which had taken place on February 7, but was too intimidated by him to go up and meet him.

"I wanted to meet Prince, but I was scared," Fox News quoted Underwood as saying.

"You don't just walk up to Prince and say hello," she added.

And even though the "American Idol" alum has won almost every award she's been up for at every awards show in recent times, she still has no expectation to win at the Grammy. (ANI)
