Pak selectors face daunting task ahead of Test series against Lanka
Karachi, Feb.8 (ANI): Top officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will be meeting on Tuesday (February 10) to select members of the team that will do duty during the forthcoming two match Test series against Sri Lanka.
Coach Intikhab Alam and newly appointed captain Younis Khan will take part in the meeting.
The selectors face a daunting task in selecting the Test team as Pakistan has not played a five-day game for the past 14 months.
The Test series will commence on February 21 in Karachi, The News reports.
Pakistan is looking forward to the Test series. After experiencing a humiliating defeat against the islanders in the recently concluded one -day series, it is looking to set the record straight.
The Board now expects Younis Khan to bring the best out of his players in the Tests.
Younis has expressed the hope that the PCB would give him enough room on selection to turn Pakistan's fortunes on the cricket field around. (ANI)
