Vajpayee's condition stable: Doctors
New Delhi, Feb 8: Doctors attending the former Prime Minister of India, Atal Behari Vajpayee, who is undergoing treatment for chest infection at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) said that condition is stable and he is making progress.
Dr Sampath Kumar, Head of Cardiac Thoracic Vascular Sciences Department of AIIMS said, "His condition is stable. He is making progress." He brushed off the rumours that the health of 84 year old veteran BJP leader and said that Vajpayee's condition has not deteriorated. Doctor added that the former does not have any fever.
Vajpayee was admitted in AIIMS on Tuesday, Feb 3 with complaints of fever and chest congestion. Doctors later detected that he was suffering from pneumonia.
