Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway in 'Battle of the Bonnies'

New York, Feb 5 (ANI): Hilary Duff is set to play the title role in a remake of the 1967 classic 'Bonnie and Clyde', but there's one person who's not happy with the development- the original Bonnie Parker -actress Faye Dunaway,

Dunaway, who originated the role of gun-slinging tough gal Bonnie Parker, was apparently not impressed upon learning of Duff's role in "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde."

"Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?" The New York Daily News quoted her as saying.However, in an interview with E!, Duff gave it back to Dunway, saying: "I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is ...

"I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too." (ANI)
