American women alleges molestation at ISKCON

Mumbai, Feb 4: Molestations on women seems to have reached holy temples!. A US national has reportedly alleged molestation in ISKCON, Mumbai on Wednesday, Feb 4. She said that a strange man knocked her door and when she opened he tried to molest her.

American woman was staying at ISKCON temple complex. Medical examinations have been conducted at a Mumbai hosptial and reports claim that she was molested.

The 24 year old said she raised an alarm, following which security personnel rushed to her room but the attacker had managed to escape.

She has registered a complaint in Juhu police station and investigations are on.

However, temple authorities denied the charge. Bhima Das, Zonal Secretary ISKCON said, "There has been no such case of rape or molestation. The police themselves are telling that there is been no case of rape. But someone tried to strangulate the US national. However, the motive behind this, whether it was with an intention of rape or something else etc is yet to be verified."
