M'lore pub attack: Muthalik, 27 accused get bail

Mangalore, Jan 31: A local Mangalore Court has granted conditional bail to Pramod Muthalik, chief of Sri Rama Sena, in the Mangalore pub attack case. All the 28 accused Sena activists including Sena Convenor Prasad Attarwar have also been granted bail.

Muthalik has been given a conditional bail with the riders that he should not influence with prosecution witnesses. Police arrested Sena activists for attacking young women at Amnesia pub in Mangalore on Jan 24. The police had charged the men with criminal assault, intimidation, outrage of modesty and criminal trespass.

Sena chief Muthalik had justified the pub incident by saying those women were consuming alcohol which is against Indian culture. He was also arrested on Jan 28 in connection with Mangalore pub attack.
