5 killed in D.I Khan blast
Dera Ismail Khan, Jan 26 (ANI): A blast in Dera Ismail Khan in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan on Monday, killed five people and left several injured.
According to the news, the blast occurred outside the town hall at circular road where a car and a motorbike were parked.
It is, however, unclear whether the bomb was planted in the car or the motorbike.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and the police and high have reached for an on the spot inspection.
The injured have been shifted to a hospital where six are reported to be in a critical condition.
According to sources, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Khalifa Qayyum had passed from the area a few minutes before the blast.
President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Prime Minister Advisor on Interior Affairs Rehman Malik, came forward to condemn the attack.
Investigations on the attacks are being carried out. (ANI)
