CID gets crucial evidence on Raju's land dealings

Hyderabad, Jan 25: Reports suggest that CID got crucial evidence on scam hit Satyam Computers ex-CEO Ramalinga Raju alleged benami land transactions. The CID allegedly got a confession out of V Gopala Krishna Raju, a trusted aide of the Raju family.

Sources suggest that G K Raju also handled B Ramalinga Raju's land dealings and documentation. G K Raju was was general manager of SRSR Advisory Services Pvt Ltd., a company that belongs to Ramalinga Raju's younger brother Suryanarayana Raju. A report in CNN-IBN news channel states that G K Raju have revealed that Ramalinga Raju's bother Suryanarayan personally instructed him to shift all original document to conceal them from police.

GK Raju along with his colleague Sri Krishnama Raju, hired a Toyota Innova and stowed the documents away to six places, other than the office, in and around Hyderabad. He kept the keys of the safes with him, constantly shifting them.

Reports suggest that the CID have retrieved 5 boxes of original documents of the land dealings. These documents clearly indicate that Raju brothers have siphoned off funds from Satyam and invested in various land dealings through 147 benami companies.
