Advani is the best candidate for PM, not me: Modi

Gujarat, Jan 17: Putting an end to the rumours fluttering in political circles, Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi on Saturday, Jan 17 clarified that he was no where in race for the Prime Minister's post. He also told the ideal candidate for Prime Minister post was L K Advani.

Modi made this statement days after the top corporate brasses publicised Modi's name stating that he was a Prime Minister material.

BJP said that the top brasses praised Modi because of party's best performance in heading State Governments.

The praise by two leading industrialists Anil Ambani and Sunil Bharti Mittal of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's leadership suggesting he could be the Prime Minister on Wednesday, Jan 14 created flutter in political circles.
