Gilani acted hastily on my removal says sacked Durrani
Islamabad, Jan.15 (ANI): The sacked Pakistani National Security Adviser (NSA) Mehmood Ali Durrani, has said that the Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani had acted in haste while ordering him to resign
Durrani said that he maintained a good relationship with Gilani, and blamed a 'lobby' behind his dismissal.
"I had maintained good relations with the Prime Minister, but a specific lobby was involved in my dismissal," The Daily Times quoted Durrani, as saying.Mehmood Ali Durrani was sacked from his post after he admitted that Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving gunman of the Mumbai terror attack, was a Pakistani national.
Many believed that Durrani was forced to resign because he deprived Gilani of a chance of breaking the news about Kasab's nationality.(ANI)
