Josef Fritzl's life set for stage satire makeover

Melbourne, Jan 14 (ANI): A satiric soap opera centred on the case of incest fiend Josef Fritzl, who allegedly held his daughter captive for 24 years and fathered her seven children, will take place in Austria.

An Austrian theatre made the announcement that it will stage the opera in Vienna.

The 3raum-anatomietheater said the show will be titled Pension Fritzl - German for Fritzl's Bed and Breakfast.

The theatre says on its Web site the show will open on February 23, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The production is being directed by Hubsi Kramar, a well-known Austrian standup comedian.

Meanwhile, Fritzl is expected to go on trial in March.

He faces charges of murder, rape, incest, false imprisonment and enslavement. (ANI)
