Student shocked at offer of £2.5M for her virginity
London, Jan 13 (ANI): A student was shocked to find out that men would pay 2.5 million pounds for something that used to be highly prized at one time, a girl's virginity.
Natalie Dylan, 22, a student, decided to auction off her virginity in order to pay for her masters degree in Family and Marriage therapy, and she reveals that her offer of a one-night stand has seen 10,000 men making a bid to bed her.
When the bidding started in September, Dylan from San Diego, California, USA, had received offers of up to 162,000 pounds, but the interest in her has since picked up.
Dylan came up with the idea of offering her virginity after her sister Avia, 23, paid for her own degree by working as a prostitute for three weeks, but the student who has a degree in Women's Studies insists she is not demeaning herself.
Though she gets a lot of attention from a wide range of men, the good, the bad and the weird ones, she thinks that it is significant to be willing to sell one's own virginity, and is even willing to undergo medical tests for any doubters.
"I get some men who are obviously looking for a girlfriend but I try and make it clear that this is a one-night-only offer," the Telegraph quoted her as saying.
"I know that a lot of people will condemn me for this because it's so taboo but I really don't have a problem with that.
"My study is completely authentic in that I truly am auctioning my virginity but I am not being sold into this. I'm not being taken advantage of in any way.
"I think me and the person I do it with will both profit greatly from the deal.
"It's shocking that men will pay so much for someone's virginity, which isn't even prized so highly anymore," she added. (ANI)
