Double standards to onsite, offsite employees?

Bangalore, Jan 13: Satyam Fiasco has piled layoff woes to its onsite employees and employees working in India. As the news of layoff of 10,000 Satyam employees spread, a chill of fear prevailed among employees of Satyam. Satyam onsite employees working in clients' office are asked not to worry and have been asked to concentrate on their work. It is also reported that if Satyam lays them off, then the client company will absorb them. So the onsite employees are little bit relieved.

If this is the situation of onsite employees, employees in India are facing a different problem and fear. Sources are stating that when some of them are working honestly, most of them are worried about the security of jobs and progress of the company. Many don't feel like working because they will not be paid in Jan and Feb.

The recent report of Satyam not paying two month's salary to its employees due to its weak financial status has also left many worried.

By not working they are only adding to the existing trouble the company is facing as the revenues would only fall further.

Satyam's former Chairman, Ramalinga Raju confessed his fraudulence of Rs 7000 crore on Friday, Jan 9.
