Sanjay Dutt to contest for LS
New Delhi, Jan 8: Known for his 'Gandhigiri' from the movie Lage Raho Munna Bhai, actor Sanjay Dutt will contest for Lok Sabha elections this year. He will contest as a Samajwadi Party candidate from Lucknow, according to Samajwadi Party on Thursday, Jan 8.
SP chief and former UP chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav will contest elections from Mainpuri.
Dutt, who has been convicted in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, would contest elections for the first time.
