Fog disrupts Kolkata now
Kolkata, Jan 7: After Delhi, fog has disrupted Kolkata. A thick fog disrupted operations at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport on Wednesday, Jan 7.
According to airport sources, 27 domestic and international flights were not allowed to depart from the airport. Fifteen flights failed to land at the airport due to fog.
Flights carrying Haj pilgrims were diverted to Nagpur, as it was difficult to land at the airport at 4:30 a.m. The general visibility dropped to 0 metres at 5:00 a.m. and it was 100 metres at 8:00 a.m., they said.
