Prachanda says Nepal Army integration proceeding positively
Kathmandu, Jan 4 (ANI): Nepal Prime Minister Prachanda has said that the process of army integration is heading towards a positive direction.
Addressing the general staff meeting of People's Liberation Army (PLA) here on Saturday, he said, "Though the formation of the Army Integration Special Committee (AISC) witnessed some obstacles, the integration process is heading towards a positive direction."
Meanwhile, Maoist Deputy Commander Chandra Prakash Khanal said the Prime Minister would now remove all the impediments hindering the integration of PLA men into the Nepal Army.
According to Kantipur, the PLA staff meeting decided to celebrate the upcoming PLA day on February 12 at the fourth division brigade office in Nawalparasi district. (ANI)
