Jet announces 40 pc cut in domestic fares

New Delhi, Dec 30: Jet Airways, India's one of the largest private airlines announced up to 40 pc reduction in basic fares. Jet in a statement said that this reduction which will be in effect from Monday, Dec 29 on the economy class category of all its domestic flights.

Now the basic fare of a Mumbai-Delhi economy class will be Rs 2,000, while that of Mumbai-Kolkata will be Rs 4,065 and for Bengaluru-Mumbai it will come around Rs 1,220. The new fares would be applicable on the airline's domestic network of 45 destinations. The usual taxes and surcharge would be applicable.
