Famous painter Manjit Bawa no more

New Delhi, Dec 29: One of India's greatest painter, Manjit Bawa, passed away in New Delhi on Monday, Dec 29. He was 67 years.

Bawa was suffering from stroke and was in coma from past three years. He departed his soul at his home in South Delhi's Green Park locality.

Bawa had impressed his fans with his vibrant and fascinating paintings. His love for spirituality, especially the Sufi philosophy were depicted in his paintings. His contribution to contemporary Indian art is commendable.
