Student shot dead by Army guards
Bangalore, Dec 28: A student was shot dead at Army camp, on Sunday, Dec 28 at 1 am. The victim identifed as Mohammed Mukarram Pasha is a first year student of Baldwin Methodists' College. He was 19 years.
Army personnel who were in high alert pressumed the student was a terrorist. Mukarram was said to be wandering in MG road at around 12 pm on Friday, Dec 27.
Later he ran into the army house at 1 am. Mukarram was asked to stop, but he contiuned to run. Army peronnel heard him speaking in Urdu in his mobile phone, hence guards shot him presuming him to be an intruder. His body is in Bowring Hospital and postmortem is being conducted. More details are awaited.
