No board meet until Jan 10: Satyam Computers

Bangalore, Dec 28: Satyam Computers officials said on Sunday, Dec 28, hat it had postponed the proposed board meeting set for Monday, Dec 29 untill Jan 10 to find out futher options beyond share buyback.

Satyam in a statement on Saturday, Dec 27 said that it will consider measures to strengthen governance infrastruture, including increasing size and altering the composition of the board.

India's fourth largest software exporter and New York-listed Satyam Computers has hired Merrill Lynch to conduct a review of the company's 'strategic options' to enhance shareholdervalue, said the statement.
