Kim Jong Il says 'might of self-reliance' will make country powerful nation by 2012
Pyongyang, Dec. 25 (ANI): Supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Kim Jong Il, has called for building a "great prosperous powerful nation" by giving full play of the "might of self-reliance."
"Only four years are left before opening the gate of a great prosperous powerful nation and there are many difficulties and trials to be weathered," Kim said, during an inspection tour to the Chollima Steel Complex.
The state media did not give the date of the inspection, Xinhua reported.
Kim was confident that "a great prosperous powerful nation" could be build by 2012 for the DPRK being armed by the "spirit of self-reliance" and industry equipped with new technology.
The DPRK has set "opening the gate of a great prosperous powerful nation," not being elaborated on and quantified ever, its national development goal by 2012, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the founding father Kim Il Sung. (ANI)
