Viagra does wonders for 'flagging' Christmas trees too!

London, Dec 24 (ANI): The perfect way to perk up flagging Christmas trees is to feed it Viagra, claim scientists.

According to researchers, the blue pill makes the branches longer, stronger and thicker.

Also, experts at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Umea have said that Viagra stops trees them shedding their needles and means they stay upright well into the New Year, reports the Daily Star.

A source said: "Viagra's obviously famous for keeping things firm and up-standing - it's fascinating it works on trees as well."

To reach the conclusion, the scientists fed different Christmas trees with different ingredients to try to find a magic recipe to stop them ­shedding their needles.

They tried plain water and normal fertiliser but the drug had the best results. (ANI)
