US bride stretched 14 inches for wedding!
London, Dec 24 (ANI): An American woman, who suffers from a rare kind of dwarfism, was stretched to an incredible 14 inches before her wedding day.
Tiffanie Didonato, 27, of North Carolina, USA, courageously underwent bone-lengthening procedures to grow from 3ft 6in to 4ft 10, so she could enjoy a more normal life.
After the procedures, Didonato proudly married Eric in October and is now looking forward to her first Christmas as a newly wed.
"They had to break my bones and put a device inside which pulls them apart bit by bit," the Telegraph quoted her, as saying.
"The bone then grows and fills in the gaps. Each day my legs would be stretched another millimetre.
"I feel great now. All I ever wanted was to live an independent life, get married and drive a car. Things which most people take for granted.
"Now I'm over 5ft if I wear my heels.
"I've lived much of my life either in a cast of with pins sticking out of my legs. But its all been worth it to have my dream wedding, dream dress and dream husband," she added. (ANI)
