HuJI may strike: Centre to West Bengal

Kolkata, Dec 24: On Wednesday, Dec 24 an alert advisory was sent by the Ministry of Home Affairs to the West Bengal government reportedly warning about possible attacks from Bangladeshi militant group Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (HuJI). Sources say that the Home Ministry has said to government that around seven HuJI operatives have entered Bengal from Assam, who are planning an attack on trains.

The Border Security Force (BSF) along the West Bengal border border is on high alert and is conducting thorough check of all trains. Reports say that the militants were trained in HuJI camps in Assam.
