Car bomb kills woman, injures four in Lahore

Lahore, Dec 24 (ANI): A car bomb exploded in Lahore today killing a woman was killed and injuring four others.

An explosive-laden pickup parked outside a doctor's house in GOR-II exploded with a bang killing a woman and injuring four others, sources said.

The injured were shifted to Services Hospital, The News reported.

The blast damaged the nearby buildings and vehicles whereas an electric transformer also exploded, creating panic among the residents after the blast.

Rescue operation is underway at the blast site and police have cordoned off the area and started investigations. (ANI)
