JuD is no charitable org; it is a terror outfit: Rice

Washington, Dec 17: Rubbishing Pakistan's claim that Jamaat-ud-Dawa, frontal organisation of Lashkar-e-Toiba is a charitable organisation, America on Wednesday, Dec 17 said that Pakistan should adhere to the UN Security Council's ban.

Speaking at the UN Headquarters in New York, the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said, "Jamaat-ud-Dawa is definitely linked to terror."

Barely a week after launching a countrywide crackdown on the JuD in response to the UN ban, reports in the Pakistani media show that the Pakistan government has begun easing restrictions placed on the JuD's activities.
