Pakistan denies violation of airspace in Afghan border

Islamabad, Dec 16: Pakistan has denied reports that the country's airspace had been violated along the Pak-Afghan border.

Reacting to media persons, Pakistani Air Commander denied three NATO fighter planes violating airspace over Chaman for several hours on Monday, Dec 15 before returning to Afghanistan.

PAF Director Public Relations Air Commander Humayun Viqar said the Pakistani airspace had not been violated.

He said the NATO aircraft were on planned authorised flights in the area so there was no question of any intrusion into or violation of Pakistan's airspace.
