Horse takes bride on a terror ride

London, Dec 15 (ANI): A bride was taken aback when her journey to her wedding changed into a terror ride, after the horse pulling her carriage bolted.

Sophie Clarke was dressed in an attractive wedding dress for her big day and was happily sitting in the cart with her dad, when the horse suddenly began pulling the cart at a speed of 35mph.

After the two cart drivers were thrown out, the daughter father duo was left with no alternative but to jump of the cart.

Sophie's father thoughtfully threw her out of the cart and later jumped out in a bid to save his life.

Sophie revealed that she is grateful to her father and her fluffy dress for saving her life.

"I was saved by my dad and my 2,000 pounds wedding dress. I'm lucky to be alive," the Sun quoted her, as saying.

Finally Sophie, who was on her way to tie the knot with fiancé Karl Wood, ended up in hospital.

Sophie's fiancé, who was desperately waiting for his bride thought at a point that he had been jilted, until he found out that his fiancé, had met with an accident.

The couple will be getting married in a low-key affair in the coming month. (ANI)
