UK Police probing how Pak extremists radicalized restaurant bomber
London, Dec.13 (ANI): British Police have launched an investigation in Pakistan to hunt down two men suspected of radicalising nail bomber Nicky Reilly. The Telegraph quoted officers as saying that they are working with Pakistani authorities to trace a number of e-mails sent by Reilly, 22, in the run-up to the bungled attempt.
Reilly has admitted attempted murder by trying to detonate two home-made nail bombs in a packed restaurant in Exeter, Devon, in May this year.
Police say the Muslim convert, who has learning difficulties, was 'radicalised' by extremists who he was in contact with via his home computer.
"We are trying to establish who Nicky Reilly was talking to over the Internet before the blast. This is a long-term investigation which is on-going." (ANI)
