Militants destroy school, lawmaker's house in NWFP
Mingora (Pakistan), Dec.13 (ANI): Militants on Thursday attacked and destroyed a school, the residence and guest house of an Awami National Party lawmaker in the troubled Swat Valley.
Member of the National Aseembly Muzafarul Mulk Khan confirmed that the attack had taken place in the Manglawar area, a few kilometres from Mingora.
The attackers affixed the two buildings with improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which went off with a big bang.
The blasts completely destroyed the two structures. There were no human casualties as MNA Mulk and his family have already left Swat District and now reside in Islamabad.
With the destruction of this school the number of destroyed school has risen to 125 in the Swat District, reports the Dawn. (ANI)
