Lugar has no plans to summon Clinton

Washington, Dec.12 (ANI): Senator Richard Lugar, the ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is unlikely to call Bill Clinton to testify at his wife's confirmation hearings.

Earlier, it was reported that several Republicans were mulling over summoning the former president o answer questions about potential conflicts of interest posed by his overseas charitable and business dealings.

Politico quoted a spokesperson for Senator Richard Lugar as saying: "He is not proposing it. The agenda for the hearing will be determined by Senator Kerry." (ANI)
