Brown to visit Delhi on Sunday
London, Dec.12 (ANI); British Prime Minister Gordon Brown will visit New Delhi on Sunday, and is expected to review the situation on ground in the wake of last month's terror attacks in Mumbai.
Brown's day-long visit will include talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other key Indian leaders. The Indian Government is likely to share evidence about the involvement of Pakistan-based terrorists in the attacks in Mumbai, official sources said.
Brown has already spoken to Singh and expressed his outrage over the incident that claimed nearly 200 lives and maimed another 300.
He has said that Britain will stand solidly behind India as it responds to the threat.
A team of Scotland Yard detectives is already in Mumbai sharing its investigative expertise with Mumbai Police in dealing with terrorism. (ANI)
