Indian participation at international global village fair in Dubai
New Delhi, Dec 10 (ANI): The Ministry of Rural Development will participate at International Global Village Fair, Dubai next month to promote sale of rural products in the international market.
This fair will give a chance to the rural craftsman to sell Indian arts and crafts, handicrafts and handloom items on the world forum.
It is a retail event and is expected to generate export orders and inquiries by the visiting buyers or public.
Accordingly, in order to project the skill of rural artisans, the State Governments have been asked to send details of displayable handicraft items, giftware, clothing accessories, furnishing and fittings and costume jewellery made by the rural artisans.
Two rural artisans who are the beneficiaries of SGSY programmes along with State officials will also participate at the fair. (ANI)
