Obama's ex campaign manager penning 'The Audacity To Win'
Washington, Dec 7 (ANI): U.S president-elect Barack Obama's former campaign manager David Plouffe is writing a book about the historic election victory.
More than 18 publishers have expressed interest in the book.
The book has been tentatively titled The Audacity To Win, a reference to Obama's million-selling The Audacity of Hope, reports Politco.com
Having helped manage one of the most sophisticated and highly praised campaigns ever; Plouffe plans to write about the use of technology, grassroots organizing, crisis management, use of the Web, public relations and personnel.
Plouffe has already reached out to Obama's literary representative, Robert Barnett, to shop the proposal around to publishers. The book will likely be published in the fall of 2009.
Barnett expects to begin meeting with publishers this week.
Plouffe, who has not yet written the book, has also signed on with the Washington Speakers Bureau to give paid speeches around the world.
He also plans to do some non-governmental private consulting. (ANI)
